The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued guidance for people traveling after the attempted bombing of a plane on Christmas Day. TSA stresses that security measures are not the same in every airport, and this is deliberate so that people cannot anticipate how they will be screened. Details of the TSA guidance is here. Has anybody had any experience with changing address to PO box on form AR 11 with USCIS or otherwise.
I recently had mail theft and have obtained a PO box but am not sure if we can fill out form AR 11 using PO box address. Mail theft is not uncommon and nobody would like to lose their EADs/FP notices in mail. The form asks for street address.
Also if people utilize AC21 to change jobs (or change locations) it would be simpler to have a PO box to get your mail.
I have put out the question to my lawyer but haven't heard back yet.
Anybody with any experience do post.

My husband and I are in a big Dilemma whether to apply for EAD or AP? In the lawyer's note,it says that anyone who is I-140 Beneficiary will not be able to use EAD and AP. Is it true?
We are on our 3 years H1/H4 using I-140 benefits only. What should we do?
Please guide us.
We still have 3 years remaining. Problem - We both have no visa stamping after we got our extentions which why AP is required at this point?
Are there any travel restrictions after we file I-1485 with AP or WITHOUT AP.
Please highlight. Will be very useful for us.

Hi All,
I am on L1A visa which is valid till December 30 2010. My 7 year limit on L1A will end with that date. I have applied for Labor on October 20, 2009 with another employer (not with the one who has sponsored L1A). Since I applied for Labor (PERM) can I apply for new H1B petition now based on the receipt number ? Please advice. Thanks in advance for your help.

please post your experiences regarding recent RFEs for EB2 and EB3 to EB2 conversions. please include details regarding what the RFE was issued for. I am startng this thread because I am hearing different things from different people saying EB2 is being scrutinized more(especially EB3 to EB2 conversions) and this is resulting in more RFEs. I need every body who received RFEs recently to comment on it so that we can arrive at an accurate assessment. I am expecting that EB2 India/ China will continue advancing in the next few months. this will indirectly benefit EB3 India also as there will be unused visa numbers that will overflow into EB3, but the only problem is if applications are scrutinized, then the RFEs may delay processing for many people with earlier PDs even if their date becomes current.

Guys,
My company in-house lawyer says that i don't have to file for H1-b right now because I was approved for H1-b before. I only use 3 month of H1-b time and changed the status to F1. Now, the lawyer advise me that we should use all of my OPT time and file for COS for previous H1-B in June starting date of January 2009, when my OPT expires.
My question is
1) Do you think it is a good ideas or just apply April 1st 2008?
2) Does anybody else have/had a similar situation, do you guys mind sharing what you did?
I will really appreciate all you guys.
